A speaker under the car and a control unit that give it an engine sound, from restrained to sporty. The stock exhaust stays as it is; volume and character are changed in the app.
Sound tuning
The unit reads engine data from the car's CAN bus and plays matching sound through the speaker. It sends nothing back to the car's systems, so engine and fuel use are unaffected.
Sound character and volume are set in the iOS and Android app. The system can be switched off completely, from the app or a button in the car.
LEVEL 2 has one THUNDER 2.0 speaker. LEVEL 3 has two, THUNDER 2.0 and STORM, for a deeper, denser sound.
THOR also fits hybrids and EVs, giving a car with no engine note of its own a sound. There is a dedicated THOR EV version for electric cars.
The stock exhaust and wiring are not cut: the unit connects through separate adapters. Petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric cars from 2005 with a CAN bus.
We match the kit to your model and supply it to order. Fitting takes 5–8 hours at a car electronics centre; the kit price comes after matching.
